Successful Social Media Training Event

Thank you to everyone who made our first social media training event such a great success!

On July 15th we had our first social media training event organized by Sarah Nadav with David Abitbol from Jewlicious www.jewlicious.com @jewlicious at the Harmony Hotel in Jerusalem.

The room was packed as people worked on their laptops and learned the most important concepts of Social Media and how it relates to Modern Orthodoxy. Everyone got hands-on training in Facebook and Twitter so that we can get more people online sharing important information and promoting tolerance and openness in Orthodoxy.

Due to the high demand we will be running more training events in the near future.

Keep updated by following us on twitter @toravoda and become a fan of Torah Va'avoda on Facebook to make sure you get all the latest news on events, issues, and the modern orthodox world.

Hands on Social Media Training- Promote Modern Orthodoxy Online

Conference on Future of Modern Orthodoxy Makes an Impact

Our recent conference on the Future of Modern Orthodoxy marks the first of what we hope will be many discussions about where modern orthodoxy is going and who will be leading the way. It is vital to make our voices heard so that the forces which are pushing  farther and farther to the right will be balanced by voices of tolerance, open-mindedness and a return to the traditional way of developing Jewish law.

Does Modern Orthodoxy Have a Future?

It is undeniable that Modern Orthodoxy has changed since the early days of Torah Va'Avodah. But is it developing in a planned, desirable way? Do we need to intervene and change course? Is it fair to intercede or should we allow natural evolution to run its course?
